Project coordinates

5Points is a New York-based real estate developer that conceives architecture as a system of relationships between form, function and context. This vision is reflected in its latest building, 262 Fifth Avenue, a residential skyscraper in the heart of Manhattan that redefines the contemporary living experience. Designed by Meganom and Norm Architects, the project offers an international perspective on Italian design, which takes centre stage throughout the interiors.

5Points’ new identity reflects this intersection, drawing inspiration from Massimo Vignelli’s work on the New York City subway signage, where aesthetics and functionality exist in perfect balance. The chosen typeface is Söhne by Klim Type Foundry: a contemporary grotesk that retains the memory of Akzidenz-Grotesk – used by Vignelli – while softening its rigour, ensuring legibility and continuity across every application.

Content architecture

The website translates the principles of the identity into a digital architecture with a distinctly contemporary character. Typography defines the coordinates of an ordered, restrained structure that guides visitors through the spaces. The images, subtly animated, invite users to immerse themselves in the interiors of 5Points and absorb their atmosphere. Every element is conceived for an immediate reading of the project, through a clear, direct system designed to orient.

From system to experience

In print, the register shifts. Typography meets recycled paper, transforming the communication system into an experience. Welcome kits, notebooks, folders, site materials: if the digital introduces structure and control, materiality becomes an interpreter of proximity. It is here that the identity changes scale and, entering into relation with the world it describes, completes it.

Panoramica

5Points is a New York-based real estate developer that approaches architecture as a discipline, not as decoration. Rooted in Vitruvian principles and a rigorous spatial vision, it creates resilient, high-performance environments that respond to their urban context. For 5Points, quality is not simply an objective, but the natural result of a clear and coherent architectural idea.
