In typography, some fonts are capable of conveying more than others an idea of modernity. They are the so-called sticks, synthetic and regular, lacking those terminal elements that characterize gra-tized fonts instead. This is the suggestion that guided the design of the new logo of KM 429, an ar-chitecture studio located at the four hundred and twenty-ninth kilometer of the Po River. Of the old logo, which recalled river signs, the pointed appearance of the letters was preserved, but a modern, geometric typography was chosen, like the architecture designed by the firm. Clarity and modernity guided the design of the website, the perfect container for the firm’s projects. Different image cuts create a dynamic effect. The Instagram profile also aligns with the visual language chosen for the other media.
