Francesca Oggioni

Overview

After initially collaborating on large-scale projects, such as the masterplan for the Olympics in London with Edaw, Francesca Oggioni soon felt the need to focus on architectural objects of a more modest scale. Designing private houses has always been her goal and, to pursue it, she founded FO studio in 2021, located in an artist’s studio north of the Brera area in Milan, together with four multilingual architects with an international background, with whom she shares the same values. The best merit attributed to her is that of designing ‘calm’ spaces, and indeed, according to her vision, the home is the refuge where the senses relax and one focuses on one’s affections and connections with oneself and one’s loved ones. This is why Francesca has always maintained that every home speaks a personal language linked to its owner: the architect’s task is to translate this language into coherent and consistent architectural forms and choices. Harmony is the result.
